Our Values

OUR VALUES

For over 35 years Winnellie Hydraulics has been supporting our customers with the same focus, dedication and hunger to deliver value since the first day we opened our doors.

As our company continues to grow across Australia our PILLAR values will continue to underpin our organisation guiding not only our team, but our contractors, suppliers, customers and stakeholders.

P

We consider our team, suppliers and customers as equal partners and key to our collective success.

I

As a family business, we hold trust, honesty and respect as vital values that drive everything we do.

L

By listening to our stakeholders, we are always learning how to operate smarter, safer and more efficiently.

L

Leadership

We lead with confidence, striving for excellence across all aspects of our operations.

A

Accountability

We do what we say we will, always.

R

Respect

We promise to always treat people how we expect to be treated.

S

Support

We go above and beyond for our team; to us this means never leaving a mate behind without offering a hand.

These values are communicated regularly throughout our organisation to ensure they are at the forefront of everything we do.

OUR COMMUNITIES

At Winnellie Group, we understand our social responsibility to our community. We actively donate our time and funds to important charities and sporting / community organisations that devote their time and resources for the betterment of the regions we operate in.

As a key operator in industrial supplies and service, your support makes our contributions all the more meaningful.

Our partnered organisations are as follows:

Foodbank NT

Foodbank NT delivers much-needed services to ensure underprivileged children are properly fed at schools in the Darwin, Palmerston and remote areas of the NT. This year we are contributing directly to Foodbank NT’s Schools Program as we’re big believers in all children having access to something as simple as breakfast and lunch.

School Sport NT

As long-term Territorians, we grew up playing sport, representing the NT. And what a great experience it is to play on the national stage at a young age. For this reason, Winnellie Hydraulics contributes funding to help subsidise the cost of training, travelling and games to ensure everybody has the opportunity to participate in these great events.

Variety Club NT

Variety Club NT is a charity that works locally to support disabled and disadvantaged NT kids to live, laugh and learn. One of Variety NT’s main fundraisers each year is the Variety Bash which involves teams driving through Australia to raise awareness about Variety’s good work. Winnellie Group sponsors Team 61 Toy Story who have raised over $73,000, to which we are proud to contribute.

Girls Gone Fishin’

Girls Gone Fishin’ is a fishing competition held annually in the NT. The competition offers an opportunity for like-minded women of different industries, cities and experience levels to get together for a weekend of fun, fishing and festivities. We think this is a great idea and kindly donate sponsorship towards both the competition and a team participating in the event.

Eagles-Lacrosse-Club

Eagles Lacrosse Club

The Eagles Lacrosse Club offers a welcoming family-friendly environment that provides every player the opportunity to develop to their full potential. They also offer opportunities for people to get involved off the field in roles such as coaching, umpiring, team management and club officiating roles and uphold an exceptional non-discrimination policy. We are very proud to be able to support such an amazing, inclusive sporting club that puts fair play and enjoyment of lacrosse as its top priorities.

Port Noarlunga Football Club

Affectionately known as ‘The Cockledivers’, The Port Noarlunga Football Club was established in 1935 and is one of its longest continuous serving member clubs in the region. Port Noarlunga is considered to be one of the stronger clubs in the League and over the years has been well represented in all age groups at our local zoned S.A.N.F.L. Club in South Adelaide. The club has developed a very good reputation for providing a genuine pathway for junior development.

Lightning Basketball Club

An opportunity to increase the number of junior clubs in the DBA presented itself, and the Lightning Basketball Club was born. Lightning has since grown into one of the largest clubs in Darwin (and the NT). The club’s primary focus is on junior development, personal growth and a positive team/club attitude. Lightning is a proud family-orientated club all sharing the same love for the game of basketball. Winnellie is a proud supporter of the Lightning and will continue its support for many years.

Palmerston Rovers F.C.

Established in 2018 the Palmerston Rovers are a club Winnellie Group has been supporting for a number of years, due to our commitment to reinvesting back into our community. Palmerston Rovers field both male and female teams as well as juniors ranging from 5 to 18 years old. The season is played from early April until the end of August. Our sponsorship to team sports at the junior club level is something we are immensely proud of here at Winnellie.

Mid Coast Magic

A relatively new netball team having been established in 2019, the Mid Coast Magic have forged themselves as the team to beat. An impressive record of three seasons with one Div 1 premiership, a Div 1 runners up and a Div 2 runners up means the Magic have played in the grand final in every season they have played, a record they intend to keep intact for years to come. As a junior team, sponsorship isn’t just a nice thing to have, it’s essential to ensure that the club survives and grows. We are proud to know that our donations assist in lowering player registrations and fees, supplies uniforms, bibs and training balls and above all, ensures that the club can host its end of season awards.
